Trapt's second album "Someone in Control"...

has this song called " Lost Realist".
You can listen to it on the band's myspace website's flash player. It has wonderful melodies and lyrics.

It asks a good question: " why do I rush to slow down?" I can't stop from relating it to my sociology class's chapters on emotion and psychology. Now the classes are making me analyze most messages Im getting and sharing, making me someone that rushes for the sake of technical terms by slowing down my emotional responses, haha. Yes I am insane.

"My independence is calling my name,
A doubtful voice provides my faith,
My independence only has a taste,
An unsure choice I can't embrace,
You'd have to carve me,
Carve me from stone,
Right to the bone or ,
We'll end up alone,
Playing the role
Of someone in control."

I love Trapt, it is the only band that I hold a poster of the whole band's autographs on it.
